This feature automates the generation of a budget broken down by line item and with measurement lines for the elements contained in a BIM model created by programs such as Revit®, AllPlan®, and ArchiCad®.

MidePlan’s project budgeting provides an automatic complete assessment of all designed elements. Since the budget is obtained from the project design, its values ​​are actual measurements, not estimates obtained from global variables or approximate percentages.

The BIM model created with a 3D CAD program includes the measurements of the designed elements. These measurements can be lengths, areas, and volumes, both gross and net, such as the allowance for openings in the case of walls. These quantities are extracted by MidePlan from an IFC file generated by the CAD program and used to calculate the measurement lines for each item.
