ABDI-MDIC BIM GUIDES Collection

BIM is a global trend. Therefore, the ABDI-MDIC BIM Guide is now available on the website of the Brazilian Agency for Industrial Development, which consolidates good practices for BIM processes in Brazil.

The Brazilian Agency for Industrial Development (ABDI) was created by the federal government in 2004 with the objective of promoting the implementation of industrial policy, in line with science, technology, innovation and foreign trade policies (Law 11,080).

Linked to the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC), it acts as a link between the public and private sectors, contributing to the sustainable development of the country through actions that increase the competitiveness of the industry.

Acting as a systematic technical support entity for the coordination and management bodies of the new industrial policy (Plano Brasil Maior) and offering conjunctural, strategic and technological studies for different sectors of industry, ABDI contributes to the construction of sectoral action agendas and to advances in the institutional, regulatory and innovation environment in Brazil.

The Agency also has the flexibility, agility and capillarity to act as an instance for the promotion, monitoring and evaluation of the Plano Brasil Maior, bringing together public and private entities around programs, projects and actions of a strategic and operational nature.
