Our Single-Family As-Built – Palo Alto

Alterpex took on the task of capturing and documenting the existing conditions of a single-family house with precision and detail. The project began with comprehensive 3D scanning, ensuring every structural and design element was accurately recorded. Using this data, the team developed a highly detailed virtual 360-degree walkthrough tour, also known as a digital twin. This interactive model allowed stakeholders to explore the property remotely, offering a clear and immersive view of its current state.

Additionally, Alterpex created a fully integrated 3D Revit model, a cornerstone of the project’s planning phase. This model was accompanied by a complete set of as-built plans, meticulously crafted to reflect the property’s exact dimensions and features. These deliverables not only documented the house’s current layout but also provided an invaluable foundation for architects and contractors to design and execute future renovations with confidence and precision. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and expertise, Alterpex ensured the project was ready for a seamless transformation.

About the 3D Revit model

A 3D Revit model is a detailed, digital representation of a building or structure. It’s created using advanced software that brings accuracy and clarity to construction projects. The model includes every detail of the design, from walls and windows to mechanical and electrical systems.

This digital model helps architects, engineers, and contractors work together more efficiently. It gives everyone access to the same accurate information, reducing errors and improving communication during the project. With a Revit model, you can visualize the project in 3D, making it easier to spot potential issues before construction starts.

For renovations or remodeling, a 3D Revit model is especially useful. It provides a complete picture of the building’s current state, ensuring any changes fit perfectly. By using this technology, you save time, cut costs, and avoid surprises during construction.
