BIM, the assets lifecycle digital platform
Assets management has been always the most important and significant concern to owners, clients, public and private organizations. Facilities such as buildings, bridges, trains, plants, roads, tunnels..etc are huge assets that consist of assets and sub-assets. So it is imperative when we talk about digital transformation to reflect its relativity and benefits on maintaining, operating and managing assets and facilities.
BIM is believed to be the first rigorous step towards facilities digitization, a fundamental base for the evolvement of smart cities and Industry 4.0. It is obvious that infrastructure assets constitute the biggest portion of the national heritage of modern societies, therefore this presentation will demonstrate to the audience the experience and achievements of CCC, being an international mega contractor, in utilizing BIM and digitization workflows for buildings and infrastructures assets management.
