Under the direction of the Lead Close Out
Coordinator, this position will be responsible for preparing, managing and
implementing the close out requirements for University projects in the e-builder project management platform; assist the Design and
Construction department in  closeout
process; coordinate with University Project Managers and lead closeout meetings to ensure that close out is completed timely and promptly by
project teams; ensures operational parameters are completed;  ensures that established procedures are
followed and quality standards are met; ensures that project close out
requirements meet the needs of maintenance and operations and supporting
departments; establishes warranty review dates; manages multiple projects
concurrently; resolves routine issues according to established practices, review and update University's closeout standards on a yearly basis, lead training sessions for internal and external users on new closeout standards. The position will also be responsible of coordinating and implementing univeristy's BIM Execution Plans, facilitating BIM Kick-off Meetings, coordinate between the University Project Managers, Project Teams, and the University Model Manager. Travel to OSU Campus location campuses
and project site locations may be required for this position.   

Qualifications: 

REQUIRED: 

-Associates Degree in
project or construction management, architecture, business admin, computer
science, engineering, or in lieu of degree(s), 5+ years of
relevant experience in the architectural or construction industry

- 2-4 years experience in the construction
industry

- Demonstrated ability to coordinate diverse teams and build consensus

- Excellent communication skills; attention to detail; strong organization
skills; self-starter

- Microsoft Application- Excel/Word

- CAD/REVIT experience;
knowledge of building systems, and construction

- Ability to manage multiple,
unrelated projects simultaneously

- Valid drivers license

- Working experience on
BIM projects. 

DESIRED: 

- Experience with hospital, academic, and/or
infrastructure projects

- Public sector and/or university experience

- Experience
reviewing/developing BIM Execution Plans.
