Our Building & Places team is actively looking for BIM Specialist to join our dedicated BIM team.
Buildings + Places BIM Team supports Architecture, Interior Design and MEP teams to create buildings as varied as skyscrapers, airports, hotels, malls or residential buildings using latest technology and developing our own tools.
Our BIM Team considers the digital requirements and the client’s needs to meet the technical, data and budget requirements.
You will join the team in a wide range of projects, with the preparation and amendment of BIM strategy and deliverables.
Job Description:
• Reporting to Business Line BIM Manager, functionally manage a number of BIM projects. Actively develop skills and capabilities of team and ensure deployment is appropriate to project and business needs.
• Help the BIM team to use, maintain and develop specific scripts at a project level.
• Understand the relation of the various pieces of commonly used software and technology.
• Training and mentoring the team to use the appropriate BIM software.
• Contribute to the maintenance and upgrade of templates and libraries.
• Quality Assurance and Control of data uploaded into models.
• Support the Office BIM Manager to ensure the necessary culture change is continued.
*Minimum Requirements:
• 5 years of work experience relevant to the BIM Engineering sector.
• Proficient at Revit modelling and Navisworks.
• Proved experience using, at least one of the following scripting tools: Dynamo, Python, C#, JavaScript
• English language proficient, holding good communication skills to present
information in speech, drawings and reports.
• Ability to understand workflow logic and systems flow to control project data and information.
• Ability to work and manage data in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Knowledge of BIM dimensions and implications in real projects (4D, 5D, 6D,…)
• Other software (valuable but not required): Bentley AECOsim, Bentley Project Wise, Autodesk Civil3D, Autodesk Infraworks, ACONEX.
*Other valuable experience/Knowledge:
- IFC exchange.
- Point Cloud data.
- Asset database creation and manage.
- As-Built BIM management.
- Most commonly used international BIM standards.
