The challenge will be to build a simple Architectural 3D model to a brief set by BIM Regions East. The models are to be built on podiums within a site context IFC file, provided by us, and the files will need to work to the project coordinates set. Each model author will then export their models in IFC format to review and interrogate.

On May 18th, each model author will build a model file providing an opportunity to see the functionality of the latest releases of Revit, AECOsim, ARCHICAD and Vectorworks.

Following the presentations will be your opportunity to ask the software vendors, or their resellers, any question relating to above mentioned authoring tools.
