BIM-Building Information Modeling is a valuable tool in the hands of anyone who works in the 

construction industry. Undoubtedly, the idea of collaborative working is growing wider and

to give you a real-life version of building construction. It allows you to visualize a building before it 

is constructed. 

As a global concept, BIM is Recommended for the first time in the 1970s, meanwhile, that  

phrase “Building Information Modelling” was not bolted in until the early 2000s. BIM software was 

pioneered then by merchants such as Autodesk, which are still major players.

expenses often fall; yet these aspects still represent only 20% of the total costs a building owner 

suffers from idea to demolition. The other 80% comes under operations.

building. 

“If you asked me, what is the future of BIM? Then it is really how we will utilize all the information 

that we have collected during the design and construction and also turn it into something that the 

end user, and the handlers of that facility, can utilize it to solve difficulties on an on-going basis.”

We have fabulous future of BIM in India. We still need to hit the hard rock to make it better. At 

present we are working on making this happen. The construction industry will change completely
