Information management is an indispensable part of good management practices in the process of projects and works.
The new series of international standards ISO-19650, already being translated for adoption in Brazil, reiterates this importance of information management in the processes from the initial phase of definition and search for suppliers, through hiring, development and delivery in the phases of design, construction and operation of assets, including BIM processes. Professionals involved in these processes should, rather than master the technologies involved, be able to well understand, define and apply concepts, protocols, standards, processes and policies related to information management with BIM.
