BIM Project Manager
DESCRIPTION
Duties/Responsibilities
• Provide model management for all BIM related tasks
• Work with project teams to coordinate all relevant disciplines that are integrated into the model. This includes: Providing clash prevention analyses, Generating and tracking clash reports, assisting with the communication of results with other stakeholders (designers, subcontractors, etc.), Providing related assistance to the extended design team
• Provide logistics and/or safety models, 2D drawings and related documents as necessary to support project team
Requirements
• Bachelor or Associate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (drafting, engineering, architecture etc.), coupled with a minimum of 10+ years of industry experience
• High level of proficiency working with Microstation (OpenRoads/Geopak/InRoads) software is strongly preferred for this role. Revit and Autodesk Civil 3D experience is considered a plus
• BIM experience in large-scale heavy civil projects (roads, bridges, tunnels, etc.) preferred.
• 3D & 4D Modeling experience required
• Able to read drawings, specifications, codes, and other technical products and material specifications, as well as interpret and manage BIM contractual obligations
• Project Automation and transportation design experience preferred
• Previous experience leading a team within a multidisciplinary environment
