BIM Coordinator Bussiness Develpment
The right candidate will have experience with supporting large and complex projects; higher education in science and technology is preferred. A large part of this role will be establishing and coordinating standards for the office.
-Provide BIM support for the project team, including project model setup and exporting files.
-Daily meetings with project team to discuss questions and resolve problems on projects. Develop and maintain BIM content as needed. Ensure Bim Database is updated daily.
-Understand and adhere to office BIM standards and guidelines. Ensure that BIM models adhere to all internal and client-specific requirements.
-Monitors projects for errors and enforces model clean up and use of standards up by project team.
-Perform periodic QA/QC audits of project files.
-Conduct BIM coordination training for new employees and ongoing CE sessions.
-Participate in the Team Work for the purpose of knowledge sharing, best practices, lessons learned, and identifying new technology.
-Identify, evaluate, and implement productivity gains possible through the use of customization, scripting, and other automation technologies
-Some travel and administration responsibilities required.
-Past sales experience necessary.
-Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have two or more years production experience in design, drafting, or engineering, including MEP and NAVISWORK knowledge.
Should have an understanding of engineering and architectural documentation and construction, including infrastructure.
Revit document production experience.
In-depth working knowledge on the field survey.
Fieldwork to create as-built documents.
Spanish fluency is a plus.
