Description

Situated at the heart of the Union Market area, Washington DC, Signal House would be a 10-story, trophy office building, expected to get completed by 2022. The pioneering project  is at the scale of the city neighborhood building, close to Florida Avenue. 

Specialty of the project:  Signal House is estimated to accommodate 4,700 multifamily. It would be a new lease on work life, set to achieve new heights in the workplace, transforming the way of work. Designed by Gensler, the office building would be of 225,000 SF, paying tribute to the historic industrial surroundings with unique terracotta, metal, and glass exteriors.

Building Details:

11 story building with 2 levels of underground parking. On the ground level there is retail space and lobby/service area. The  second level consists of landscape courtyard, office space and amenities. All together, the project is spread over 225,000 square feet.

  • Start Date of BIM Implementation - 10/2019

  • End Date of BIM Implementation - 04/2020

  • Owner- Carr Properties

Gensler provided Carr Properties with design and construction management.
