DESCRIPTION
About the role
- Develop models and visual imagery (using various software platforms including Revit) to support projects, tender submissions and presentations
- Audit the digital process on projects using standard checklists (to be developed) to support BIM level 2 accreditation
- Monitor the delivery of contracted digital outputs on allocated projects
- When required, audit potential consultants and subcontractors for digital capability
- Facilitate specific initiatives - support site project teams e.g.360 Field, Point Layout
- Represent region at associated events
- Support 4D and 5D champions
- Attend consultant meetings as required to support project digital deliverables
- When required, present the regions digital capabilities
- CPD in relation to digital developments and new technologies
- Facilitate VR/AR technologies to support site teams
- Research of new technologies
Who are we looking for?
- Experienced user of BIM Authoring Software, Design Coordination Software [Revit, NavisWorks and BIM 360 Field], Information Management Systems and Electronic Document Management Systems.
- A design or construction related background is essential.
- Good understanding of BIM Level 2 requirements and industry protocols.
- Possess excellent IT skills and willingness to explore, learn and use new technology and software.
- Be a team player, flexible and able to work with others.
- Ability to present to a wide audience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good time management and able to commit and work to deadlines.
