As a BIM Co-ordinator you will work closely with the Infrastructure BIM team and various project teams to support the successful delivery of digital construction and information management of the project requirements from conception to completion

We are therefor looking for a collaborative, adaptable and flexible team player who communicates well, possesses excellent IT skills and has a willingness to explore, learn and use new emerging digital technologies and software.

Ideally you should have carried out a similar role in the construction industry and have experience of the digital requirements in the manufacturing facilities and nuclear sectors.

What you’ll be doing:

As a BIM Coordinator with Rolls Royce Submarines, you will be working in a fast-paced engineering and construction environment driving exceptional quality and service for the development of our estate. Specific Responsibilities will include:

• Support the implementation and operation of the Rolls-Royce Common Data Environment.
• Responsible for the creation of QA checklists for BIM models, CAD drawings, diagrams, and Bills of Materials
• Producing project outputs such as visual walkthroughs and data drops
• Federation of co-ordinated 3D Models for all our discipline teams on any given project.
• Assist in BIM co-ordination meetings along with the BIM or Design Manager, this may include such activities as 'live' walkthroughs, clash detection, problem solving, co-ordination or spatial issues

• Proven knowledge of information management standards and industry developments including the ISO 19650 suite of documents and managing multiple stakeholders
• Proven BIM track record including authoring tools
• Experience in common data environment setup and support
• Experience in clash detection and information model reviews
• Experience in the collation of COBie data and asset management data
• Creative and independent thinker with problems solving skills.
