Job Description
Do you have experience as an architect, engineer or construction manager as well as BIM project management experience? My client is looking for a BIM Project Manager to oversee teams of Technical staff and provide top-notch production leadership, technical support, documentation, training and development to their clients, ranging from government to commercial to institutional organizations.
Responsibilities:
Work with Regional Directors and Sr. Consultants to define Scopes of Work
Create initial Project setup with workflow documents
Define and communicate project goals and milestones
Provide project kick-off information
Work as part of a project team to achieve consistent results
Define and monitor quality control programs
Over-the-shoulder training, developing and shadowing to staff
Work with all disciplines vendors on content download and update to standards
Integration of BIM technology with other applications (Autodesk, Construction, Cost Estimation
Monitor the overall project budget
Requirements:
• Must have an Architectural or Engineering Degree
Professional registration (PE, RA, AIA, PMP, etc.) & industry accreditations (LEED, GISP) preferred
Min. of 7 years experience in a professional environment
Min. of 4 years professional experience using/supporting Autodesk products, including Revit Architecture, Revit MEP, Revit Structure, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Glue and / or Navisworks
Working knowledge of design industry workflows, production cycles and PM software.
Eager to support staff with a positive attitude, passion and patience
Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion
Ability to understand project scopes, budgets and communicate risk
Adept at exploring new technology and evaluating the impact of an existing workflow
Experience with training and support mentor, project team member and strategic leader
