DESCRIPTION
Qualification & Experience;
Diploma or Graduate in Civil Engineering.
1- 4 years of experience required in Civil Engineering - Design & Modelling.
Principal Duties & Key Responsibilities;
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- As a CAD Technician / Engineer you will produce drawings and schedules for Sub-surface utilities, Plant rooms, drainage and infrastructure elements of Utilities projects and preferably BIM models.
- The role will involve the preparation of preliminary sketches, general arrangement drawings, detail drawings and schedules & BIM Models under the direction of an Engineer / CAD/BIM Manager. You will be using AutoCAD 2015, AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce 2D and 3D drawings for Concept, Design, Tender and construction purposes
- As part of your day to day duties, you will be expected to work under supervision of a Principal / Senior CAD / BIM Technician and will be expected to liaise on a proactive basis to resolve problems. You must be willing to develop your Technical understanding of structures and CAD / BIM skills.
Required Competencies;
- AutoCAD 2015 or Later
- Civil 3D 2015 or Later
Knowledge of the following packages would be an added advantage:
- Navisworks Manage 2015 or later.
- Revit 2015 or later.
